Our goal is to advocate on behalf of and help address the needs of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) people. To help facilitate this, we offer a range of activities and services under the ‘gayWISE’ banner that help to:
• Promote greater social inclusion of LGBT people
• Support and / or improve the health and well-being of LGBT people.
• Provide creative and skills building opportunities for LGBT people.
Positive Rainbow Haringey:
A dedicated drop-in service for HIV+ gay, bisexual and MSM men and their partners. This is a confidential service and clients are advised to contact organisation prior to attending. The Positive Rainbow Haringey Drop-In service is held at Wood Green Library, N22 6XD.
The drop-in offers access to:
• Peer support
• Advice & counselling
• Referrals to clinical services
Advice, advocacy & consultancy:
The organisation offers advice and consultancy services to help generate a greater understanding of LGBT people from diverse cultures and communities. Our objective is to support better inclusion and social acceptance of LGBT people within the wider community. For further details contact Wise Thoughts.
HIV+ & Sexual Health Services:
The organisation currently advises and / or works in partnership with Haringey CCG, Health Watch Haringey, Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust, Public Health England and Public Health Haringey on the needs of LGBT people, especially LGBT people from BAME backgrounds.
